Arcana Academy – Kickstarter

Ultima settimana di kickstarter per un altro gioco di ruolo: Arcana Academy.
Riassunto in due parole? Hogwarts + PbtA.
Il sistema Power by the Apocalypse, con alcune lievi modifiche, per raccontare le storie di studenti di una scuola di magia, incentrando le trame su un mistero centrale (si ottengono indizi per aver accesso a poter fare domande dirette al master, tranne la domanda centrale del mistero) e sulle relazioni interpersonali. Dichiarato punto di forza anche la possibilità di creazione libera delle magie oltre a una delle mosse che è proprio “La magia risolve tutto” (ma ci vuole fantasia!).
Per chi vuole farsi un’idea c’è un quickstart di 43 pagine ben spiegato.
Con 11€ si ottiene il PDF. Il costo di spedizione rende scarsamente interessante il manuale materiale senza organizzarsi in gruppo.

Last week for another kickstarter rpg project: Arcana Academy. Described in two words? Hogwarts + PbtA. The Powered by the Apocalypse system, lightly modified, in order to narrate the stories of a group of students in a school of magic. The game is centered on solvin a main mistery (getting clues to access the faculty to ask questions directly to the GM) and on social relationship. Interesting the free form spell creation and the “The magic solves everything” move (but you’ll need fantasy to use it!). 43 pages quickstart downloadable.
